Who we are
Soteria was born out of a personal journey and a pressing need for change. I'm Laura, and I founded Soteria after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease on my 16th birthday—a life-changing moment that meant removing gluten from my diet entirely. Despite careful efforts, I continued to get sick due to cross-contamination, whether at restaurants with friends or even in my own kitchen.
Getting sick from hidden gluten isn't just uncomfortable—it can derail an entire day, sometimes even a week. I realized that if I was struggling this much, countless others probably were too. That’s what inspired the creation of Glunase—a powerful cleaning solution specifically designed to break down and eliminate gluten from surfaces, helping create safer spaces for those of us who need them.
